PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF IRON RIVER RESIDENTS ONLY

SPRING CLEAN-UP – LARGE ITEM DISPOSAL
Saturday, May 16, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
DPW Garage – 1701 Washington Ave

Residents may dispose of one trailer of large household items, including furniture, appliances, TVs, construction materials, metal, car batteries, dried latex paint, and up to 10 tires (no rims).

NOT ACCEPTED: Yard waste, garbage, mattresses, clothing, glass, shingles, hazardous materials, or wet paint.

Yard waste may be taken to the Homer Road brush dump (open daily 9 AM – 8 PM).

Proof of residency required.
Non-residents will be turned away.
